Tower Cranes on Site

By on October 20, 2016

Visiting construction sites to all parts of the city. While undergoing construction to these areas, I took few choice snapshots of the tower cranes, the load capacity is too heavy as shown. From the tower crane itself, towards the higher clouds background, you’ll view all different formation of clouds in the atmosphere; cirrus, cumulus, altostratus, stratus, cirrocumulus, nimbus to name a few. Other photos below with the presence of other formations like cirrocumulus, altostratus and stratus. The cirrocumulus and cirrus above 18.000 feet.

Heavy Crop of Beautiful Flowers

By on October 10, 2016

Bearing a heavy crop of beautiful flowers in clusters sometimes, carrying many flowers on one stem alone, these flowering plants live in a dry climate however, manage to survive even during rainy season. This is a good example of plants that can easily adopt themselves to the climate and a  good specimen for beautification.

Summer growth flowers are produced abundantly as shown here that’s why I’m closing close track of the flowers thinking that when flowering ends, seeds are being released and ready to be collected. The next step is to dry the seeds for a week or two and plant them, one month after, it will give lushness of the surroundings.

There is Always Tomorrow but Things You Can do for Today,Don’t leave it for Tomorrow

By on October 4, 2016

There is always tomorrow but things you can do for today must not be postponed for tomorrow because tomorrow is another day. For everyone seemed delaying things they can do for today, thinking tomorrow is always there. Of course, if you wake up is always another day and tomorrow comes next..

Saying tomorrow is a concept to delay things as tomorrow becomes an excuse to delay things, all task must be done right away after planning it.There must never been a disturbance to be interrupted because time is an essence. Don’t you know? tomorrow never ends. What you can do for today must be accomplished immediately, just do it now because time is running short .

For me, doing things for tomorrow is not an acceptable reason and consistently yours to finish right away, no obvious reason!

Seagulls/ Egrets/ King Fishers

By on

Intensely social and inspiring to watch some seagulls, egrets and king fishers, all fish-eating -birds making a dive racing downward and dipping their bills to catch a fish. For the birds eating fish, Manila Bay is a good and wide feeding ground here in the city proper. I’m just wondering, where is their nesting site?

I’m not only a bird watcher, I’m here to take snapshots for the water birds but clouds getting thicker and dark clouds filled the blue sky as afternoon rain is about to come in minutes. I can smell the bay water, the blizzard sound of wave as the wind blew cold. It was almost like a night as thunder roared so load came with the rain. If only I can fly and wheel like a bird, would be joining the group diving and enjoying the rain..

Orange Gumamela Flower with pink center

By on September 28, 2016

I love flowering plants that prolongs the moment of glory. A pleasure to see daily, one graceful example is this one. Orange Gumamela  with pink center ( Hibiscus flower )  is equally well in full bloom. The intense sunlight tends to stimulate flowering that brings brilliant natural colors.

To our own flowering plants in the garden, a lot of -plants already reached old age. The tired looking stems and discolored leaves tends to resign. I have to replace it annually with something new, a new plant with attractive flowers and this time, a more manageable one is truly good.

The Best Viewpoint of Rizal Monument

By on September 7, 2016

The monument was constructed made of bronze and granite (1912) by Swiss Sculptor Richard Kissling. The Philippine National Hero Monument is the most photographed and visited monument. Taken at Rizal Park, Luneta Manila August 1,2016.

Dr. Jose Rizal Monument 1913

From the best viewpoint must be at  frontal view but I’ve spotted something unpleasant upon taking few snapshots, the building behind the monument at the right side (Torre De Manila) is completely ruining the landmark itself. To compare 2 photos taken at the same scene and the same subject. Of course I want it to come out at its best to achieve a good result.

Check the photos from above and below, you can spot the difference . My problem here is on how to hide the building behind it? Nevermind about some amount of controversy about the construction of the building, it was already there. Here’s I’m pointing the best location and convenient position to get a good viewpoint, different position at the same scene.

From the first photo above, thriving on such photography challenge, I’ve avoided to snap it in front,  getting to the right side with a bit distance will give a good result even though taken at dusk and you can see the black clouds at the background.

To get the precise effect I’ve been looking for, sooner, I get back to the same location at different time of the day to shoot again.  Whew ! Right time of the day simply offers more stunning scenes and photographic opportunities.

Cloud Skyscraper

By on August 31, 2016

Viewing and photographing the scene from the ground, above 4 skyscrapers  from the higher viewpoint, the wind speed blowing below upon taking the shots leaving my hair dry and tangled. I took the shot while walking around the Eastwood area last week, just as a nice scene for the day. About hair problems? Next time, gonna try the trendy hair braided style, that would be easier for me to avoid terrible mess!
